3 Websites to Use to Get UI Inspiration for Your Mobile App

Are you looking to create an elegant app? You know, the ones that are so intuitive that there are no instructions included?

Well you’re in luck. UI design is one of the things that sets one app apart from another. You can have two apps with the exact same functionality but the one with the better user interface will typically be the one that succeeds when it is launched.

Before you approach a designer or developer to create your mobile app, it’s usually best if you have a few examples of apps that you like or other apps that mirror functionality that you’re looking to create.

Below are 3 websites to use to get some inspiration for your mobile application.

Dribbble is a community of the worlds best designers that upload their work to share with the rest of the world. This can be a great place to get some inspiration from people who’ve created apps similar to what you’re looking for.

You can sort by the skill set you’re looking for (such as: UI design) and even use this as a tool to find designers. The designers with the highest amount of followers are automatically shown at the top and you can scroll down to find a designer that matches the style of work you’re looking for.

2. Pttrns

Pttrns is a great site if you’re looking for inspiration for a specific functionality. Say you’re creating a new calculator app or your mobile app depends on creating the best commenting system.

3. Behance

Behance is another community site like Dribbble where designers can showcase their work and their work voted up by the community of other designers.
